Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website owners information about how their site is being used.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control their use. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential/Strictly Necessary: Required for the Service to function. These cookies enable core functionality such as authentication, session management, and security.
- Functional: Remember your preferences, settings, and choices to enhance your experience.
- Analytics: Help us understand how you interact with the Service, which features are most popular, and where we can improve.
- Performance: Monitor the performance and reliability of the Service, detect errors, and diagnose technical issues.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies for behavioral advertising purposes.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 First-Party Cookies
These cookies are set by AgentAGI and are essential for the Service to function:
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session_token | Authentication — keeps you logged in | 7 days |
| csrf_token | Security — prevents cross-site request forgery | Session |
| preferences | Stores your UI preferences (theme, sidebar state) | 1 year |
| locale | Remembers your language preference | 1 year |
3.2 Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may set their own cookies:
- Stripe: Payment processing — Stripe's cookies are used for fraud prevention and checkout. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel Analytics: Usage analytics — anonymized, privacy-focused analytics that do not track individual users. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Sentry: Error monitoring — captures anonymized error data to help us diagnose issues. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
4. Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use:
- Local Storage: Used to cache application data and preferences locally in your browser for improved performance.
- Session Storage: Temporarily stores data during a single browser session.
- Web Beacons: Used in emails to confirm delivery and measure engagement (e.g., did you open a support notification?).
5. How to Control Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise your cookie preferences in the following ways:
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View cookies stored on your device and delete them individually.
- Block third-party cookies.
- Block all cookies (which may affect the functionality of the Service).
- Set preferences for when cookies are cleared (e.g., when the browser closes).
Instructions for managing cookies in popular browsers:
Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. As there is not yet a universally accepted standard for responding to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We will reassess this as standards evolve.
6. Cookie Retention
The duration of cookies varies based on their purpose. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or are manually deleted. Our cookie durations are listed in the table in Section 3.1 above.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If material changes are made, we will notify you through the Service or by email.
8. Contact
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at privacy@agentagi.dev.
